Our Anti-Racism film 'Just Ignore It' was the lead story on BBC Look North. We are thrilled that the film is being supported like this and that we are part of the news as well as a cultural feature. The young people who made the film with us have been meeting every 2 weeks for 2 years working together to fight racism. As well as making the film with us they have written a policy for schools to help them tackle racism.
So far the film has been picked up by Hull Uni Teacher Training and will be shown to every new teacher, has been shared with every school across the city as well as youth services and has been part of man Black History Month events. We are so proud of this project.
