My Pockets worked with the Centre For Justice Innovation to create this film exploring how drug an alcohol services for woman can be improved.
We developed the project by talking to women who were in drug an alcohol treatment. These conversations had a powerful impact on us and rather than write a script for the project we decided to use the women's voices, talking together instead. We spent time recording the conversations and the drew over footage of the group, this technique allowed us to hide their identities whilst also keeping their amazing spirit.
