Hull and East Yorkshire Childrens University commissioned us to make a film that told the stories of young people who had benefited from working with them. They introduced us to Kai, we recorded his story and then began animating.
We wanted the film to capture Kai's brilliant creative energy and mind. His passion for photography and his incredible strength.
The film is an example of how difficult stories can be bought to life and given light and imagination when we work with people to create animations.
